JTLC - JT Luxe Compound

At JT Luxe Compound, the best days might be the ones you never leave home. This four-bedroom Joshua Tree retreat turns a fenced desert acre into your own playground, with a lighted pickleball court, saltwater pool, sauna, and plenty of room to unwind. Rally with friends, spend the afternoon poolside, then gather for dinner and stargazing beneath the desert sky, all surrounded by mountain views.

Designed for groups who love to play as much as they love to relax, JT Luxe Compound brings the energy of a private resort to the Joshua Tree desert. The property is thoughtfully arranged into spaces for swimming, sports, outdoor dining, and quieter moments, with Joshua trees, mountain views, and illuminated pathways connecting it all. Competitive guests can head straight to the full-size pickleball court, complete with paddles, balls, and LED lighting for evening matches. Nearby, a putting green and cornhole boards offer a more casual challenge, while the dedicated yoga yard provides space to stretch and slow down.

The pool can be heated during cooler weather or chilled when the desert temperatures rise, allowing guests to tailor their swimming experience to the season.

The covered cabana makes outdoor entertaining especially easy. Fire up the built-in BBQ, settle around the dining tables, and put a game or movie on the 75-inch TV without heading indoors. As daylight fades, the custom concrete fire pit offers another place for everyone to gather.

For a different kind of relaxation, step into the panoramic barrel sauna, where a glass viewing dome frames the surrounding mountains. After dark, follow the illuminated pathways to the stargazing geodome and its viewing loungers. With the court lights available until 10 PM and landscape lighting throughout the grounds, the property feels just as inviting after sunset.

-Living Area-
High ceilings finished in warm wood bring character to the main living room, where comfortable sofas, leather armchairs, and soft blue accents create an easygoing space for spending time together. Large windows bring in natural light and views of the Joshua trees, keeping the desert landscape part of the experience even indoors.

Settle in for a movie on the 65-inch smart TV, switch on the electric fireplace during cooler evenings, or spread out with a book after a busy afternoon outside. Two queen sofa beds offer additional sleeping flexibility for larger groups.

Fast Wi-Fi makes it easy to stream, catch up on work, or stay connected. The home also includes a dedicated laundry room with a washer, dryer, iron, and ironing board.

-Kitchen and Dining-
The kitchen brings together warm wood cabinetry, open shelving, a concrete island, and sculptural pendant lighting for a clean, contemporary look. It's a space designed to be used, with plenty of room to prepare a meal while friends gather around the island.

You'll find a full-size refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, coffee maker, cookware, dishes, and glassware, along with the everyday essentials for preparing meals at home. The long dining table sits just beyond the island, making it easy to serve a group dinner or linger over another round of conversation.

For more casual meals, take advantage of the outdoor cabana and built-in BBQ. With dining areas both inside and out, the group can move comfortably between the kitchen, pool, and patio throughout the day.

The entire house and property are yours to enjoy! Please note that a few supply closets stay locked to store rental supplies.

Guests have access to the entire property except the storage shed, which is used for property management.

A personal vehicle is necessary to get around in this area - rideshare apps are not guaranteed.

-Pool Safety-
Children under 18 must have active adult supervision near the pool. No diving and no glass in or around the pool area; plastic cups are provided. Pets must stay out of the pool, as dog hair clogs the filtration system.

-Pool Chilling-
If you prefer a cold plunge in the hotter months, we can chill the pool for you. Please contact us before your stay to discuss details and rates.

-Barrel Sauna-
The sauna has a timer with a delayed start, so you can preheat it. To create steam, use the bucket and ladle to pour water gently over the hot stones. Fill the bucket only from the dedicated hose bib on the side of the house. Never use pool water: its chlorine, salt and chemicals corrode the heating elements, ruin the stones and release harmful vapors. Any use of pool water will result in a cleaning and restoration fee.

-Septic System-
This property has a sensitive septic system. Please flush only toilet paper; trash cans are provided in every bathroom for everything else, including 'flushable' wipes. A $200 repair fee applies to blockages caused by misuse.

-House-Specific Rules-
► Extra overnight guests must be approved before arrival and are billed at $50 per person, per night.
► Please take a quick shower before getting in to wash off lotions and sunscreen. Do not add soap, body wash, bath bombs or oils of any kind, as they ruin the water chemistry and can burn out the heater and pumps. Damage or specialized cleaning caused by misuse will be charged to the reservation.

-Pool Heating Fee-
Should you wish to have the pool heated to 85 degrees, please notify us in advance of your arrival, as there will be a supplemental charge per day for this service due to high fuel costs in this area. If you'd like the pool heated for multiple days, we ask that days be consecutive to conserve energy, thank you! Pool heating is not usually necessary May through September. Please note that we will need at least 24 hours' notice to heat the pool.

► $250 per night

During the winter months, please be aware that colder outdoor temperatures may cause the pool to feel cooler than its maintained temperature of 85°F. We kindly ask that you ensure this temperature meets your comfort level before submitting a request, as refunds cannot be issued on this basis.

-Pool and Hot Tub Service-
Professional pool service occurs weekly on Thursdays, approximately between 8am and 2pm. Please note that these times are estimates and may change slightly due to our technician's busy schedule.

-Pet Policy-
We welcome your dogs! There is a $150 per dog per stay fee, limit of 2 dogs maximum. Please note on your reservation how many dogs you are bringing. There is an unauthorized pet fee of $500. Please use the provided dog sheets before allowing your dogs on any furniture. Cats and other pets are not allowed.

We've handpicked an incredible selection of local vendors to enhance your Joshua Tree stay, offering a mix of relaxation, adventure, and everything in between. Whether you're seeking relaxation with sound baths, yoga sessions, meditation guides, in-home massages, facials, aromatherapy or the convenience of a personal chef or caterer, you'll find options to elevate your experience. Other unique experiences include guided stargazing tours under the breathtaking desert sky or guided hikes accompanied by mini donkeys!

-Wildlife & Safety-
The desert landscape is teeming with wildlife and natural beauty, offering a unique connection to nature, but it's important to be mindful of the creatures and plants that call this area home. Guests may encounter a variety of wildlife during their stay, and while direct encounters with dangerous animals like coyotes, snakes, scorpions, bobcats, mountain lions and other desert dwellers are rare, it is important to be aware of your surroundings and to keep a safe distance from these creatures when spotted. Additionally, the desert is dotted with sharp cacti and other spiky plants. For your safety, always supervise children, pets, ESAs, and service animals while outdoors. Dogs should remain on a leash at all times and be watched closely while outdoors, as they can wander into potentially unsafe situations with wildlife or plants. By booking this property, guests acknowledge the potential for wildlife encounters and assume responsibility for their safety and the safety of their group. By respecting the local environment and staying aware, you can fully enjoy the magic of the desert.

-Security Camera-
For your security, there are four exterior security cameras monitoring the front and back entrances, active 24/7. There are no cameras pointing toward any interior spaces or private areas. Noise decibel monitors are also on the property.
