From the moment you step inside, there’s a noticeable shift; everything softens, inviting you to settle in and be present. Thoughtfully placed ambient lighting throughout allows the home to transition effortlessly from bright and natural during the day to more intimate and inviting in the evening. - Outdoor Amenities - The outdoor space is designed as your own private desert setting: open, peaceful and inviting. The in-ground pool and spa with stone edging create a natural place to spend the day, while a wood-burning fireplace and fire pit offer cozy gathering points as the sun sets. Front and back patios provide different experiences, from slow mornings in rocking chairs to evenings under the pergola with dining, a BBQ and lounge seating. A shaded crescent lounge area adds a unique spot to relax, all set against wide desert skies and ideal stargazing conditions. - Living Area - The living space welcomes you with an immediate sense of openness and ease. Earthy materials and natural textures create a grounded, moody atmosphere, softened by a warm glow of light that shifts throughout the day. A bay window anchors the room, bringing in natural light and adding a quiet architectural moment that connects the interior to the surrounding landscape. Handcrafted details throughout give the space a distinct, personal feel without overwhelming it. A projector setup adds flexibility to the experience; whether it’s music playing while you spend time outside or winding down with a movie at night. The space transitions effortlessly from daytime lounging to cozy evenings in. For larger groups, a queen trifold memory foam mattress and sheets are located in the garage and can be set up in the living room for extra sleeping space. You will find the extra pillows in the middle bedroom closet cabinets. - Kitchen & Dining - The kitchen is designed as both a functional workspace and a natural gathering point. Please note that the 2 closets in the hallway and the outdoor storage bin in the garage are being used for storage for supplies for the rental that is locked to guests. A personal vehicle is necessary to get around in this area - rideshare apps are not guaranteed. -Pool Heating Fee- If you’d like the pool heated to 84°F, please let us know at least 24 hours before arrival. A daily fee applies due to high fuel costs. If heating for multiple days, days must be consecutive. Pool heating is usually not needed from May through September. ► $250 per night *No fee to heat the hot tub!* -Pool Heating- Only one of the pool or hot tub can heat at once. If you wish to use the hot tub while the pool is heating, just note that the pool heating will turn off while the hot tub heats. Once the hot tub is turned back off, the pool heating will resume. -Hot Tub Heating- Please note that because the hot tub is an in-ground hot tub, it is not heated constantly in order to conserve energy. It will take around 30 minutes to heat to 104 degrees from ambient temperature. -Pool and Hot Tub Service- The pool and hot tub are serviced Tuesday and Friday, approximately between 11am and 4pm. Please note that these times are estimates and may change slightly due to our technician's busy schedule. He will not approach the house but will go directly through to the backyard. -Dogs- Luna Canpanula welcomes your dogs! There is a $100 per dog per stay fee, limit of 2 dogs maximum. Please note on your reservation if you are bringing dog(s) and how many, and we will adjust the price accordingly. There is an unauthorized pet fee of $500. Please use the provided dog sheets before allowing your dogs on any furniture. Cats and other pets are not allowed. - Firewood for Outdoor Fireplaces- If you'd like to use the wood burning fireplace, please note we do not provide firewood. If you'd like to enjoy the fireplace, we recommend picking up bundles of firewood at a local grocery store or gas station in town. -Local Experiences: Relax, Adventure, Connect- We’ve handpicked an incredible selection of local vendors to enhance your Joshua Tree stay, offering a mix of relaxation, adventure, and everything in between. Many services can come directly to the house, ensuring a seamless and unforgettable stay! -Desert Wildlife & Safety Tips- The desert landscape is teeming with wildlife and natural beauty, offering a unique connection to nature, but it’s important to be mindful of the creatures and plants that call this area home. Guests may encounter a variety of wildlife during their stay, and while direct encounters with dangerous animals like coyotes, snakes, scorpions, bobcats, mountain lions and other desert dwellers are rare, it is important to be aware of your surroundings and to keep a safe distance from these creatures when spotted. Additionally, the desert is dotted with sharp cacti and other spiky plants. For your safety, always supervise children, pets, ESAs, and service animals while outdoors. Dogs should remain on a leash at all times and be watched closely while outdoors, as they can wander into potentially unsafe situations with wildlife or plants. By booking this property, guests acknowledge the potential for wildlife encounters and assume responsibility for their safety and the safety of their group. By respecting the local environment and staying aware, you can fully enjoy the magic of the desert. -Security Cameras- There are security cameras facing the outdoor areas (the driveway as well as one on the left and right sides of the home) for security and in order to monitor the quantity of people and cars on the property, so we may ensure compliance with local ordinances and for insurance and liability purposes. These cameras are not monitored unless an event like a party or injury occurs. There are no security cameras inside or facing any private areas of the home, such as the pool area. -Damage Waiver Policy- Each reservation requires either a refundable security deposit or a non-refundable damage waiver
