The outdoor spaces at Iglesia Sol are designed to feel relaxed, intimate and connected to the surrounding desert. Begin your day with a peaceful yoga session or gentle stretch in the courtyard, surrounded by the beauty of the desert landscape. The courtyard patio offers a welcoming place to unwind, with comfortable seating, a spa and a BBQ framed by a garden of potted cacti, creating a calm atmosphere. Spend slow afternoons soaking up the sun, share casual meals at the high-top table or enjoy a quiet soak as the sky shifts at sunset. Just beyond the courtyard, lounge chairs and a freestanding wood-burning fireplace create a perfect spot to relax by day or gather beneath the stars by night. Near the bedroom, a tucked-away side patio with café-style seating provides a peaceful corner for morning coffee, journaling or a quiet moment to yourself.

The main living area offers an intimate, inviting setting designed for comfort and connection. Natural light pours in through the large picture window overlooking the courtyard, with sweeping mountain views rising in the background, creating a warm, relaxed atmosphere throughout the day. Settle in for cozy movie nights on the plush sofa, which doubles as a sleeper for a friend or kids, and unwind with your favorite films on the smart TV after a day of exploring. Thoughtful design details shine in the tall built-in shelving nooks accented with earth-toned stone tile, adding character and a subtle Spanish-inspired charm to this welcoming space.

-Lounge Area-
The second living area is a cozy sitting retreat made for slowing down and savoring quiet moments. Relax in the two oversized swivel chairs and set the mood with a favorite vinyl on the record player. Curl up with a good book or turn to admire the sweeping mountain views through the large arched picture windows. Perfect for slow mornings, golden-hour sunsets and peaceful evenings indoors, this inviting nook offers a beautiful place to unwind. Please note that the fireplace is non-operational and is not available for guest use.

The kitchen at Iglesia Sol is fully equipped with modern appliances and everything you need to prepare meals comfortably during your stay. A combo drip and coffee-pod Keurig offers flexible options for your morning routine. The entire property is yours to enjoy! Please note that the top pantry cabinets in the kitchen are being used for storage for supplies for the rental that is locked to guests.

Please note that the last 0.2 miles to the home is a dirt road, so please take it slow. The dirt roads are well maintained and a four-wheel drive car is not necessary, but please note that the dirt road conditions vary and may have some bumps and ruts, particularly after rainstorms.

A personal vehicle is necessary; rideshare apps are not guaranteed in this area.

-Hot Tub-
No fee to heat the hot tub!

-Cowboy Tub Availability-
The cowboy tub is drained and unavailable for guest use during winter months (November - March) to prevent the filter from freezing and breaking.

-Firewood for the Outdoor Fireplace-
If you'd like to use the wood burning fireplace, please note we do not provide firewood. If you'd like to enjoy the fireplace, we recommend picking up bundles of firewood at a local grocery store or gas station in town.

-Pet Policy-
We welcome your dogs! There is a $100 per dog per stay fee, limit of 2 dogs maximum. Please note on your reservation if you are bringing dog(s) and how many, and we will adjust the price accordingly. There is an unauthorized pet fee of $1000. Please use the provided dog sheets before allowing your dogs on any furniture. Cats and other pets are not allowed.

-Damage Waiver Policy-
Each reservation requires either a refundable security deposit or a non-refundable damage waiver

-Desert Wildlife & Safety Tips-
The desert landscape is teeming with wildlife and natural beauty, offering a unique connection to nature, but it’s important to be mindful of the creatures and plants that call this area home. Guests may encounter a variety of wildlife during their stay, and while direct encounters with dangerous animals like coyotes, snakes, scorpions, bobcats, mountain lions and other desert dwellers are rare, it is important to be aware of your surroundings and to keep a safe distance from these creatures when spotted. Additionally, the desert is dotted with sharp cacti and other spiky plants. For your safety, always supervise children, pets, ESAs, and service animals while outdoors. Dogs should remain on a leash at all times and be watched closely while outdoors, as they can wander into potentially unsafe situations with wildlife or plants. By booking this property, guests acknowledge the potential for wildlife encounters and assume responsibility for their safety and the safety of their group. By respecting the local environment and staying aware, you can fully enjoy the magic of the desert.

-Late Check Out-
Any unauthorized late check-out beyond the 15-minute grace period will incur a $100 fee for the first hour, with an additional $100 charged for every hour thereafter.
