Ideal for groups, celebrations, and memory-making, this space invites you to gather, connect, and turn every moment into an experience. -Outdoor Amenities- Set on 5 private acres atop a hill, the outdoor space offers sweeping, unobstructed desert views in every direction, creating a cinematic backdrop from sunrise to sunset. The in-ground pool and spa are perfectly positioned to take in the vast landscape, offering a front-row seat to golden hour and star-filled skies. A propane fire pit anchors the outdoor lounge area with a custom mural backdrop, while multiple seating spaces and a shaded patio with dining table invite long, laughter-filled evenings. Fire up the BBQ for group meals under the open sky, or take in the iconic Hollywood-style sign perched on the hilltop for a playful, photo-worthy moment. With wide open land and breezy desert evenings, the property is perfect for stargazing, relaxing, and soaking in the quiet magic of the desert. -Living Area- The living room is designed for gathering, lounging, and setting the vibe. Bright, stylish, and full of personality, the space features a classic Chesterfield sofa, multiple seating areas, and a Smart TV and record player for movie nights or music sessions. Large windows flood the room with natural light while framing the expansive desert views. With bold décor, statement lighting, and a high-quality sound system, the space effortlessly shifts from laid-back mornings with coffee to lively evenings filled with music, conversation, and connection. -Kitchen & Dining- The industrial-style kitchen is both functional and striking, anchored by a premium Viking stove and oven that’s perfect for cooking group meals. Spacious countertops and a fully equipped setup make it easy to prepare everything from casual breakfasts to celebratory dinners. The kitchen flows seamlessly into the dining and living areas, encouraging connection and shared experiences. Whether you’re cooking together, hosting a dinner party, or enjoying a relaxed meal indoors or outside on the patio, this space is designed to bring people together. -Bedrooms & Bathrooms- The main residence features three thoughtfully designed bedrooms, each offering its own unique vibe while maintaining comfort and style. The primary suite serves as a private retreat with a king bed and an attached bathroom featuring a large walk-in shower. The second bedroom also includes a king bed, while the third offers a queen bed; these two rooms share a hallway bathroom. -Theme Bar Room Casita- The detached casita adds an entirely new dimension to the property. It includes a fourth bedroom known as the “portal room,” featuring a surprise mirrored installation with glowing portal lights that create a surreal, immersive experience. The casita also houses a kitchenette with mini fridges, a private bathroom, and an unforgettable themed entertainment room complete with a cheetah-print stage, bar setup for karaoke or events, projector capability for movie nights, and dramatic velvet floor-to-ceiling curtains. The space is soundproofed and designed for unforgettable nights of music, laughter, and creativity. -Surrounding Area- Perched above the High Desert, the property offers a rare sense of elevation and openness, with panoramic views stretching across the Mojave landscape. Just minutes away, Joshua Tree National Park invites exploration with its iconic rock formations, hiking trails, and surreal desert scenery. Please note that Bling Shack is in a remote location, and the last 1.4 miles to the home are dirt roads, so please take it slow. The dirt roads are maintained, and a four-wheel drive car is not necessary, but please note that the dirt road conditions vary and may have bumps and ruts, particularly after rainstorms. -Pool Heating Fee- Should you wish to have the pool heated to 85°F, please notify us in advance of your arrival as there will be a supplemental charge per day for this service due to high fuel costs in this area. If you'd like the pool heated for multiple days, we ask that days be consecutive to conserve energy, thank you! Pool heating is not usually necessary May through September. Please note that we will need at least 24 hours' notice to heat the pool. ► $250 per night During the winter months, please be aware that colder outdoor temperatures may cause the pool to feel cooler than its maintained temperature of 85°F. Refunds cannot be issued based on temperature preference. -Hot Tub Heating- Please note that because the hot tub is an in-ground hot tub, it is not heated constantly in order to conserve energy. It will take around 30 minutes to heat to 104 degrees from ambient temperature. -Pool and Hot Tub Service- The pool and hot tub are serviced Thursdays between approximately 9am and 4pm. Please note that these times are estimates and may change slightly due to our technician's busy schedule. He will not approach the house but will go directly through to the backyard. -Dogs- We welcome your dogs! There is a $100 per dog per stay fee, limit of 2 dogs maximum. Please note on your reservation if you are bringing dog(s) and how many, and we will adjust the price accordingly. There is an unauthorized pet fee of $500. Please use the provided dog sheets before allowing your dogs on any furniture. Cats and other pets are not allowed. -Local Experiences: Relax, Adventure, Connect- We’ve handpicked an incredible selection of local vendors to enhance your Joshua Tree stay, offering a mix of relaxation, adventure, and everything in between. Whether you’re seeking relaxation with sound baths, yoga sessions, meditation guides, in-home massages, facials, aromatherapy or the convenience of a personal chef of caterer, you'll find options to elevate your experience. For thrill-seekers, explore rock climbing adventures, dune buggy rides, or horseback riding. Other unique experiences include guided stargazing tours under the breathtaking desert sky or guided hikes accompanied by mini donkeys! All vendor details are available in our guidebook upon booking, making it easy to craft your ideal getaway. Many services can come directly to the house, ensuring a seamless and unforgettable stay! -Desert Wildlife & Safety Tips- The desert landscape is teeming with wildlife and natural beauty, offering a unique connection to nature, but it’s important to be mindful of the creatures and plants that call this area home. Guests may encounter a variety of wildlife during their stay, and while direct encounters with dangerous animals like coyotes, snakes, scorpions, bobcats, mountain lions and other desert dwellers are rare, it is important to be aware of your surroundings and to keep a safe distance from these creatures when spotted. Additionally, the desert is dotted with sharp cacti and other spiky plants. For your safety, always supervise children, pets, ESAs, and service animals while outdoors. Dogs should remain on a leash at all times and be watched closely while outdoors, as they can wander into potentially unsafe situations with wildlife or plants. By booking this property, guests acknowledge the potential for wildlife encounters and assume responsibility for their safety and the safety of their group. By respecting the local environment and staying aware, you can fully enjoy the magic of the desert. -Security Cameras- There are security cameras facing the driveway and outdoor areas (front and the sides of house, as well as the pool area) for security and in order to monitor the quantity of people and cars on the property, so we may ensure compliance with local ordinances. There are no security cameras inside or facing any private areas of the home.
