BRO-SMB - Smokin Buck

At Smokin Buck, the best room in the house might be outside. This newly built Hochatown cabin is surrounded by towering pines, with two levels of expansive porches made for gathering. Watch the game beside the outdoor fireplace, challenge friends to foosball, or slip into the hot tub beneath the string lights. With a private backyard, inviting interiors, and plenty of room to spread out, it's a getaway where staying in is just as appealing as going out.

Warm pine ceilings, natural wood finishes, and a striking stone fireplace wall give Smokin Buck the welcoming character of a classic woodland cabin, with the comfort and openness of a modern home. The 1,800-square-foot interior brings the living room and kitchen together, making it easy to cook, catch up, and relax without splitting up the group. Large windows bring the surrounding trees into view, while comfortable furnishings and thoughtful gathering spaces make the cabin feel immediately inviting.

What sets Smokin Buck apart is how naturally life extends outdoors. With 2,000 square feet of porches across two levels, the property offers nearly as much outdoor living space as it does inside. There's a place for every kind of afternoon, from a competitive game of cornhole to a quiet hour among the pines, and evenings have a way of moving between the fireplace, fire pit, and hot tub.

-Outdoor Amenities-
The outdoor living spaces are the heart of Smokin Buck. Surrounded by tall pines, the two-level porches create a series of inviting places to gather, each with its own atmosphere. Start with breakfast in the fresh air, settle into a comfortable seat with a book, or spend an afternoon moving between games and conversation while the trees provide a beautiful backdrop.

The expansive deck is made for entertaining, with a BBQ grill and outdoor dining area that make cooking and eating together part of the experience. For a little friendly competition, break out the cornhole and yard games or head to the foosball table.

As evening approaches, the outdoor spaces take on an entirely different character. String lights illuminate the porches, where a stone fireplace and mounted television create an inviting outdoor living room. Catch a game beside the fire, settle in around the porch fire table, or head into the yard, where Adirondack chairs surround a separate fire pit.

The covered hot tub offers another way to enjoy the wooded surroundings. Sheltered beneath a timber ceiling and softly lit by string lights, it's an inviting place to unwind after a full day exploring Hochatown or simply enjoying the cabin.

-Living Area-
Inside, Smokin Buck has the warmth of a traditional cabin without feeling dark or enclosed. Natural pine ceilings, rustic wood trim, and a textured stone accent wall bring character to the open living room, while leather seating, soft throws, and a generous area rug create a comfortable space to settle in.

The large television sits above an electric fireplace, making this a natural gathering spot for movies, games, or a relaxed evening after dinner. A game console and board games provide additional entertainment, especially when everyone wants a little time indoors.

The living room flows directly into the kitchen, so conversation carries easily between the two spaces. Natural light filters through the windows, offering glimpses of the forest and keeping the surrounding landscape part of the experience even when you're inside.

-Kitchen and Dining-
Smokin Buck's kitchen is designed for easy meals and time spent together. Granite countertops, gray cabinetry, and a central island give the space a clean, practical layout that connects directly to the living area.

The kitchen comes equipped with a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, and the cookware and dinnerware needed for preparing meals at home. A coffee maker makes mornings easy, whether you're enjoying a quiet cup indoors or taking it outside to the porch.

Bar seating and an adjacent dining area provide convenient places for casual meals. When the weather calls for outdoor dining, take advantage of the spacious deck and BBQ grill, where everyone can gather for dinner beneath the trees.

-Bedrooms and Bathrooms-
After a day of outdoor adventures, games, and fireside conversations, Smokin Buck offers three welcoming bedrooms with warm wood details and comfortable furnishings. Each bedroom includes a smart TV, giving guests their own space to unwind.

The primary bedroom features a king-size bed framed by rustic woodwork, with a beautiful plank ceiling and ceiling fan overhead. Warm tones and natural materials create a restful atmosphere, while the adjoining bathroom features a spacious tiled walk-in shower.

The two additional bedrooms each feature a queen-size bed and their own individual character. One looks out toward the surrounding forest, bringing the peaceful woodland setting into the room.

The bathrooms feature modern tilework and walk-in showers, including a rainfall shower beneath a wood-paneled ceiling and another with distinctive mosaic accents. These updated finishes bring a clean, contemporary feel to the cabin's rustic architecture.

A washer and dryer are also available, making longer stays and days spent outdoors easy to manage.
