With its own sports court and resort-style courtyard, Shadow makes it tempting to spend the entire day at home. Start with a friendly pickleball tournament as the morning light reaches the surrounding mountains, or switch things up with a few rounds of basketball. The court sits against an expansive desert backdrop, giving even a casual game a memorable setting.

When it's time to cool down, head to the courtyard pool, surrounded by the home's dramatic black architecture and generous patio space. The adjoining hot tub invites a slower pace, while loungers and outdoor seating offer plenty of places to stretch out between swims. A steel pergola adds an architectural focal point to the courtyard, where the open desert and sheltered outdoor living areas come together.

Afternoons can easily turn into evenings here. Fire up the BBQ, bring dinner outside, and settle in around the outdoor dining table. As the desert light softens, gather around the fire pit with a drink and enjoy views of the nearby boulder-strewn hills. The outdoor spaces offer a wonderful balance of activity and relaxation, with room for everyone to enjoy the desert in their own way.

-Living Area-
Inside, Shadow's living room offers a welcome contrast to the bright, open landscape outside. A curved sofa, comfortable lounge chairs, and a striking black tiled feature wall create a stylish gathering space that feels inviting rather than formal.

Large windows frame the surrounding desert, while sliding glass doors keep the courtyard within easy reach. Spend a quiet morning reading by the window, gather for a movie on the smart TV, or settle in for a relaxed evening of conversation after a day outdoors.

The open floor plan connects the living room with the kitchen, allowing everyone to enjoy time together without feeling crowded.

-Kitchen and Dining-
Shadow's kitchen is as beautiful as it is functional. Matte black cabinetry, a textured stone backsplash, sleek appliances, and sculptural glass pendants create a dramatic, contemporary space centered around a generous island with seating for five.

Whether you're preparing a leisurely breakfast before heading to Joshua Tree National Park or making dinner together after a day by the pool, the spacious layout makes cooking feel like part of the experience. Guests can pull up a stool at the island, help with the meal, or simply enjoy a drink while catching up.

With direct access to the courtyard, it's easy to take meals outdoors. Enjoy lunch between swims or prepare dinner on the BBQ and linger around the patio table as the evening cools.

-Bedrooms and Bathrooms-
Shadow's three bedrooms provide a peaceful retreat from the day's activities, with a refined, understated design that complements the rest of the home. Two bedrooms feature king beds, while the third provides an additional sleeping space. Dark slatted accent walls, soft bedding, thoughtfully selected artwork, and warm wood flooring create an atmosphere that feels calm and comfortable. A window seat adds a cozy place to unwind while enjoying the desert scenery.

The home has three full bathrooms, including one ensuite, allowing guests to enjoy added convenience and privacy when traveling together. Each bathroom features a smart toilet, while distinctive finishes include dramatic black tile, double vanities, and a glass-enclosed shower with a rainfall showerhead.

The combination of comfortable sleeping spaces, contemporary finishes, and three full bathrooms makes Shadow especially well suited for groups of friends and families who appreciate having room to retreat and recharge between adventures.
