-Outdoor Amenities-
The outdoor spaces are where Mulberry & Pine truly comes into its own. Surrounded by mature Joshua trees, desert gardens, and the rugged formations of Pipes Canyon, the property offers several distinct places to settle in, each suited to a different part of the day.

The spacious concrete terrace is furnished with sun loungers and a beautifully integrated hot tub framed by warm timber decking. Spend the afternoon reading in the sun, take a refreshing dip in the seasonal cowboy tub during warmer months, or stretch out on the outdoor bed with nothing on the agenda. An open-air shower makes it easy to rinse off before heading inside.

A covered dining patio connects the home's indoor spaces to the landscape. With string lights overhead, a generous dining table, and a propane BBQ, it's an inviting setting for meals that don't need a reservation. As evening arrives, gather around the propane fire pit before returning to the hot tub for a final soak.

Beyond the developed outdoor areas, the property's 2.5 acres retain the natural character of the high desert, with Joshua trees, cacti, and views of the surrounding mesas. The grounds are open and not fully fenced.

The cowboy tub is a seasonal amenity, available April through October and closed November through March.

-Living Area-
Bright, uncluttered, and thoughtfully furnished, the main living space offers a welcome contrast to the rugged landscape outside. Clean white walls, dark architectural accents, and comfortable seating create an understated setting for mornings spent reading or evenings catching up over music.

Large windows frame the Joshua trees and changing desert light, while the open-concept layout keeps the living room connected to the kitchen and dining space. A Bluetooth sound system lets you set the mood, whether you're getting ready for an evening out or settling in after a day exploring Pioneertown.

One of the home's most memorable architectural details is its built-in arched bookshelf, filled with books and curated objects. Browse the collection, find something worth reading, and claim a quiet corner for the afternoon.

-Kitchen and Dining-
The kitchen is as thoughtfully designed as the rest of the home, with matte black cabinetry, crisp white countertops, open shelving, and sculptural overhead lighting. A generous central island with wooden bar stools creates an easy place to gather while meals are being prepared.

Fully equipped for cooking at home, the kitchen includes modern appliances, cookware, dining essentials, and a coffee maker. Its open connection to the living and dining areas makes preparing meals feel like part of the gathering rather than a separate activity.

For a change of scenery, take dinner outside to the covered patio. The propane BBQ and outdoor dining table make evenings at home particularly appealing, especially when the canyon begins to cool and the string lights come on.

-Bedrooms and Bathrooms-
Mulberry & Pine features two inviting bedrooms, each furnished with a king-size bed, soft bedding, ceiling fan, and windows looking out onto the desert landscape. The rooms continue the home's restrained Scandinavian aesthetic, favoring natural light, simple furnishings, and a peaceful atmosphere.

With a king bed in each room, the layout works particularly well for two couples traveling together or friends who appreciate having their own comfortable sleeping spaces.

The bathrooms are equally considered, with modern fixtures and clean, contemporary finishes. A standout feature is the freestanding white soaking bathtub positioned beside a large window overlooking the Joshua trees. It's an especially lovely place to unwind, with natural light, desert scenery, and enough room to settle in with a favorite book.

Another bathroom features a walk-in shower with an arched niche and patterned tile, adding a subtle architectural detail to the otherwise minimalist interiors.

Whether you're returning from a hike or spending the day entirely at home, the bedrooms and bathing spaces provide a calm, comfortable place to retreat.

Pappy and Harriet's in Pioneertown is close by for live music and dinner, and so is La Copine in Flamingo Heights. The Integratron, for a sound bath, Joshua Tree village and Joshua Tree National Park are all within reach. In between, the canyon itself is good for a morning walk among the mesas.
