This 3,200 sq ft copper and wood villa blends Wabi-sabi elegance with Scandinavian minimalism and modern luxury. Thoughtfully designed to soothe the senses, the home is a study in high design and soulful living. With five bedrooms, three spa-like bathrooms, a 2,500 sq ft wraparound yoga deck, and a glass container pool, Stargate is your portal to desert magic, serenity, and sweeping views of mountains and Joshua trees. -Living Area- The upper floor opens into a grand, light-filled living room with floor-to-ceiling glass windows that dissolve the boundary between inside and out. The main area features an electric fireplace, a massive cloud-like sectional couch, and a full home theater setup with a projector and drop-down screen—perfect for movie nights. We could even see snow capped mountains in the distance, an unexpected surprise. The property was clearly built by someone who was a craftsperson. Solid details. Lots of space outside to roam. As a result we spent less time at Joshua Tree and more time at the property. We watched jack rabbits, quail, hawks and a variety of other animals from the expansive kitchen and livingroom windows morning through evening. The layout of the house was solid and sound did not travel. 3 bedrooms downstairs and 2 upstairs was perfect. There's also a very comfortable murphy bed hidden in the living room. Bonus: the huge couch in the living room can be shifted into 8 seperate large pieces which we arranged to watch movies on the large projector screen. Very cool! Walking along the neighborhood roads was a plus for us in the evenings. Peaceful, visually stimulating, and safe. We felt like we left a day too soon but did so feeling inspired."
