With a king bedroom, a beautiful clawfoot soaking tub, and inviting outdoor spaces surrounded by trees, this is the kind of getaway where staying in is half the fun.

Step inside to a soaring, two-story living room where a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, warm wood floors, and expansive windows give the cabin the character of a mountain lodge. Natural light fills the open living space, while soft furnishings and wood-paneled walls keep everything feeling warm and welcoming. When it's time to eat, fire up the BBQ and gather around the outdoor dining table overlooking the woods. There's no need to rush back inside afterward. Settle into a lounge chair, enjoy a glass of wine on the balcony, or make your way to the fire pit, where Adirondack chairs invite you to spend the evening talking around the flames. An outdoor fireplace offers another cozy spot to enjoy the cooler evening air.

The spacious living room is made for doing absolutely nothing in the best possible way. A generous sectional offers plenty of room to stretch out, whether you're catching up on your favorite shows, enjoying a movie night, or simply relaxing beside the fireplace.

Tall windows bring the surrounding woodland into view, while the open layout connects the living and dining spaces without sacrificing the cabin's cozy atmosphere. The combination of natural wood, stone, and comfortable furnishings makes this an especially inviting place to return to after time outdoors.

-Kitchen and Dining-
Whether you're preparing a favorite dinner together or keeping things simple with coffee and breakfast, the fully equipped kitchen has what you need to feel at home. Modern appliances, a dishwasher, and a coffee maker make everyday meals easy, while the nearby dining area provides a welcoming place to sit down together.

On pleasant evenings, take dinner outside to the covered deck. With a BBQ grill and outdoor dining space overlooking the trees, cooking at home can easily become one of the best parts of your stay.

-Bedrooms and Bathrooms-
Merlot Mountain features one spacious bedroom with a king-size bed, offering a comfortable retreat when you're ready to turn in for the night.

One of the cabin's most charming features is its freestanding clawfoot soaking tub. With a beautiful copper-toned exterior and classic detailing, it's an inviting place to enjoy a long bath and a little uninterrupted quiet.

The cabin also includes two bathrooms, providing added convenience throughout your stay.

-Surrounding Area-
Merlot Mountain is in Broken Bow, surrounded by trees and fresh mountain air, with local attractions to explore, including a casino. Spend the day out exploring, then come back for a swim, a soak and a quiet night by the fire.

The entire house and property are yours to enjoy! Please note that a few supply closets stay locked to store rental supplies.

A personal vehicle is necessary to get around in this area - rideshare apps are not guaranteed.

-Children and Pool Safety-
Children 8 years and older are welcome. This is primarily for safety, as the pool does not have a gate around it. If you bring children under 8, please supervise them closely and make sure they are careful around the pool area at all times.

-Fireplace and Fire Pit-
Please make sure fires are completely extinguished after use.

-House-Specific Rules-
► Please avoid using the hot tub immediately after it has been serviced, as chemical levels are higher than usual for a short time. Please rinse off oils and lotions before entering, keep the cover on when not in use, and no drinking in the hot tub, please.

-Pool Heating Fee-
Should you wish to have the pool heated to 85 degrees, please notify us in advance of your arrival, as there will be a supplemental charge per day for this service due to high fuel costs in this area. If you'd like the pool heated for multiple days, we ask that days be consecutive to conserve energy, thank you! Pool heating is not usually necessary May through September. Please note that we will need at least 24 hours' notice to heat the pool.

During the winter months, please be aware that colder outdoor temperatures may cause the pool to feel cooler than its maintained temperature of 85°F. We kindly ask that you ensure this temperature meets your comfort level before submitting a request, as refunds cannot be issued on this basis.

-Pool and Hot Tub Service-
We have weekly pool and hot tub cleanings, and this day may fall during your stay.

-Pet Policy-
We welcome your dogs! There is a $100 per dog per stay fee, limit of 2 dogs maximum. Please note on your reservation how many dogs you are bringing. There is an unauthorized pet fee of $500. Please use the provided dog sheets before allowing your dogs on any furniture. Cats and other pets are not allowed due to the owner's severe allergy.
