The backyard is where Good Luck Outpost really comes into its own. The freeform swimming pool winds around natural desert boulders, with a built-in hot tub alongside it and sweeping views of the valley below. It's an inviting place to spend an entire afternoon, moving between the water and the loungers while the mountains change color in the distance.

Beyond the pool, the outdoor spaces offer plenty of ways to enjoy the hillside. Play a round of horseshoes, claim a hammock, or settle beneath the large shade tree with a book. The gas BBQ makes outdoor meals easy, and the surrounding boulders lend the property a rugged desert character.

As evening approaches, the fire pit becomes the gathering place. Adirondack chairs circle the flames, overlooking the lights of Yucca Valley and the mountains beyond. Stay outside as the sky turns pink and orange, then finish the evening with a soak in the hot tub.

-Living Area-
Inside, Good Luck Outpost has the relaxed personality of a well-loved desert getaway. Vaulted wood ceilings, generous windows, warm-toned furnishings, and retro accents create a welcoming space that feels playful without sacrificing comfort.

The main living room is made for slowing down between activities. Put on a favorite record from the vinyl collection, settle into the sofa for conversation, or bring out the popcorn for a movie on the smart TV. A decorative wood stove adds vintage character, although it is not functional.

With its mix of Western influences, colorful artwork, and midcentury details, the home has a personality all its own, inviting guests to make themselves comfortable rather than worry about keeping everything picture-perfect.

-Kitchen and Dining-
The kitchen keeps everyone connected, with warm wood cabinetry, tiled countertops, a central island, and breakfast-bar seating that opens toward the surrounding gathering spaces. It's fully equipped for preparing meals at home, whether you're making a quick breakfast before heading out or putting together dinner after an afternoon by the pool. A coffee maker and provided coffee and sugar help ease into the morning.

Just beyond the kitchen, the sunroom is one of the home's most inviting spaces. A wood-paneled ceiling, terracotta tile floors, vintage-style dining chairs, and an indoor cactus garden give the room its distinctive character. Large windows look toward the desert landscape, while a daybed offers a place to stretch out after a meal.

It's an easy setting for lingering over breakfast, sharing a long dinner, or sitting around the table planning the next day's adventures.

-Bedrooms and Bathrooms-
The home's three bedrooms each have their own personality, with colorful murals and comfortable furnishings that carry the playful design throughout the house. With two bathrooms and accommodations for up to eight guests, the layout works especially well for families and groups of friends.

The primary bedroom offers a spacious retreat, with a painted mountain mural, sculptural Sputnik chandelier, smart TV, and generous mirrored closets. An ensuite bathroom features a large walk-in shower.

The second bedroom has a queen bed and a cheerful rainbow mural, bringing a bright, colorful atmosphere to the space.

The third bedroom is particularly fun for younger guests, with a Star Wars-inspired space mural, one double bed, and one twin bed.

A second bathroom off the hallway includes a shower and bathtub combination, convenient for guests sharing the additional bedrooms.

-Game Room-
When everyone's ready for a little competition, the game room delivers. With wood beams overhead, colorful mural artwork, and a collection of arcade-style and tabletop games, this is the place for spirited tournaments and plenty of rematches.

Challenge friends to foosball, air hockey, shuffleboard, speedball, or Skee-Ball, then trade places and see who can hold onto the lead. Hanging chairs offer a spot to relax between rounds, making the room just as enjoyable for spectators as it is for players.

It's an especially welcome feature for families, groups traveling with kids, or anyone who wants another way to spend time together beyond the pool.
