Daydream is a spacious three-bedroom, three-bathroom midcentury home surrounded by the quiet beauty of the high desert. Warm wood details, a statement fireplace, large windows, and abundant natural light create an inviting space that feels connected to the landscape. The home is designed for easy days spent together, whether you are sharing a meal, challenging each other in the game room, cooling off in the pool, or settling in for a peaceful evening beneath the stars.

-Outdoor Amenities-
The fully fenced backyard is the heart of Daydream. Spend warm afternoons floating in the private in-ground pool, relax in the hot tub as the desert cools, or fire up the BBQ for dinner outdoors. After sunset, gather around the propane fire pit for conversation beneath the wide-open sky. The five-acre setting offers mountain views, mature desert landscaping, and plenty of room to slow down and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Clear nights reveal the brilliant stars that make the high desert such an unforgettable place to visit.

-Living Area-
The spacious living area pairs midcentury character with a relaxed desert atmosphere. Warm wood details, large windows, natural light, and a statement fireplace create an inviting place for slow mornings and cozy evenings after a day exploring Joshua Tree.

The separate game room gives your group another place to gather, with air hockey, foosball, basketball, and additional games for friendly competition and indoor fun.

-Kitchen & Dining-
The kitchen is equipped for preparing everything from easy breakfasts to relaxed group dinners. Its connection to the dining and gathering spaces makes it easy to cook while still being part of the conversation.

Outside, the BBQ and dining area invite you to enjoy meals in the open air, especially as the sun sets and the evening temperatures begin to cool.

-Bedrooms & Bathrooms-
Daydream accommodates guests across three comfortable bedrooms. Two bedrooms feature king beds, while the third features a queen bed. Each room offers a restful retreat after a day exploring Joshua Tree and the surrounding desert.

The property includes three bathrooms. Two are located inside the main house, while the third is a private bathroom in a separate outdoor casita featuring its own bathtub for a unique, relaxing desert bathing experience.

-Surrounding Area-
Daydream places you within easy reach of Joshua Tree National Park, downtown Twentynine Palms, Joshua Tree Village, and the creative communities of the Morongo Basin. Spend your days hiking among massive boulders and ancient Joshua trees, browsing local shops and galleries, booking a sound bath, or discovering the area’s independent restaurants and bars.

After exploring, return to a quieter desert setting where mountain views, open skies, and brilliant stars create a peaceful end to the day.

A personal vehicle is necessary to get around in this area - rideshare apps are not guaranteed.

Please note that Daydream is in a rural desert location, and the final 0.7 miles to the home are on a dirt road. The road is maintained, and four-wheel drive is not necessary, but please drive slowly to respect our neighbors and avoid kicking up dust. Dirt-road conditions can vary and may include bumps or ruts, particularly after rainstorms.

-Directions & Dirt Road-
Please follow the GPS directions provided in your check-in instructions exactly. Do not use Apple Maps, as it may provide incorrect directions to the property.

The final 0.7 miles to the home are on a dirt road. The road is maintained, and four-wheel drive is not necessary, but please take it slowly to respect our neighbors and avoid kicking up dust. Dirt-road conditions may include bumps and ruts, particularly after rainstorms.

-Pool Heating Fee-
Should you wish to have the pool heated to 84 degrees, please notify us at least 24 hours before your arrival.

► The initial charge for the first day is $200, followed by $100 for each additional day.

If you would like the pool heated for multiple days, the days must be consecutive to conserve energy. Pool heating is usually unnecessary from May through September. The heater operates from approximately 7:30am until 11pm. During the winter months, colder outdoor temperatures may cause the pool to feel cooler than its maintained temperature of 84°F. Please ensure this temperature meets your comfort level before requesting pool heat, as refunds cannot be issued on this basis.

-Hot Tub Heating-
There is no fee to heat the hot tub. Because it is an in-ground hot tub, it is not heated constantly in order to conserve energy. It generally takes around 30 minutes to heat to 104 degrees from the ambient temperature.

-Pool and Hot Tub Service-
The pool and hot tub are serviced every Friday. The technician will access the backyard directly and will not approach the house. Service timing may vary based on the technician’s schedule.

Please avoid using the pool or hot tub immediately after service, as chemical levels may be temporarily elevated.

-Pool and Hot Tub Rules-
All guests must shower before and after using the pool or hot tub. Please rinse away dirt, oils, lotions, and other products before entering the water, as these can affect water quality and cause discoloration.

Children under 14 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times. Proper swim attire is required. Street clothes and denim are not permitted. Pets, glass containers, alcohol, drugs, food, diving, jumping, running, rough play, and excessive splashing are prohibited in the pool and hot tub area. Large flotation devices, rafts, or toys that may obstruct others are not permitted.

Please keep the hot tub cover secured when the hot tub is not in use. The cover is designed for insulation and cannot support weight. Do not stand or sit on it, and do not add hot water from the stove. Misuse or excessive dirtiness may result in an additional cleaning or maintenance charge.

-Pet Policy-
We welcome your dogs! There is a $100 fee per dog, per stay, with a limit of two dogs. Please note on your reservation whether you are bringing dogs and how many, and we will adjust the price accordingly. There is a $500 fee for unauthorized pets.

Please use the provided dog sheets before allowing dogs on any furniture, and do not leave pets unattended unless they are safely crated. Cats and other pets are not permitted due to the owner’s severe allergy.

-Wildlife & Safety-
The desert landscape is teeming with wildlife and natural beauty, offering a unique connection to nature, but it’s important to be mindful of the creatures and plants that call this area home. Guests may encounter a variety of wildlife during their stay, and while direct encounters with dangerous animals like coyotes, snakes, scorpions, bobcats, mountain lions and other desert dwellers are rare, it is important to be aware of your surroundings and to keep a safe distance from these creatures when spotted. Additionally, the desert is dotted with sharp cacti and other spiky plants. For your safety, always supervise children, pets, ESAs, and service animals while outdoors. Dogs should remain on a leash at all times and be watched closely while outdoors, as they can wander into potentially unsafe situations with wildlife or plants. By booking this property, guests acknowledge the potential for wildlife encounters and assume responsibility for their safety and the safety of their group. By respecting the local environment and staying aware, you can fully enjoy the magic of the desert.

-Security Cameras-
Exterior security cameras are located at the front of the house and the front of the garage. These cameras monitor the driveway, vehicles, and property occupancy for safety and compliance. There are no cameras inside the home or facing private areas, including the pool and hot tub.

-Desert Climate-
During periods of extreme heat, the cold-water supply may feel warm. This is a natural result of desert temperatures and is not a plumbing issue.

Air-conditioning systems may be able to cool a home approximately 20 degrees below the outdoor temperature. During periods when temperatures exceed 100°F, indoor temperatures may remain near 80°F regardless of the thermostat setting. Please stay hydrated, limit strenuous outdoor activity during peak heat, wear appropriate clothing, use sunscreen, and never leave children or pets inside a parked vehicle.

-House Rules-

• Parties and large gatherings are strictly prohibited. We prioritize the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of our guests and neighbors. Violations may result in a $500 fee.
• Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am, and outdoor speakers are not permitted. Noise-related violations may result in a minimum $1,000 fee.
• Smoking is prohibited inside the house and within 10 feet of the home. Smoke residue may result in additional cleaning charges.
• Any locked closet or room is restricted. Guests may be held responsible for missing items or damage caused by forced entry.
• Items left behind will incur a minimum return shipping and handling fee of $50, depending on the destination.

-Damage Waiver Policy-
Each reservation requires either a refundable security deposit or a non-refundable damage waiver

-Late Check Out-
Any unauthorized late check-out beyond the 15-minute grace period will incur a $100 fee for the first hour, with an additional $100 charged for every hour thereafter.
